Vintage Black Maryland Gerbe Fully Fashioned Stockings VS030

Smooth 30 denier fully fashioned stockings by famed French hosiery brand Gerbe. Featuring a point heel, these are the 'Maryland' style.

According to Gerbe Maryland is 'The fashionable, sheer and longwearing Stocking'.

The colour is a black.

At a size 8.5, these stockings should officially fit a UK foot size 3-4, US foot size 5-6, Euro foot size 36-37. These nylons are a newer vintage so I would expect them to have a more modern fit to be worn higher on the leg than stockings made in the 1950s.

Welt Imprint: There is a welt imprint on the welt of these stockings. As with all vintage welt imprints unfortunately they will flake off when worn. If you do find a pretty welt imprint on a pair of stockings the best way to preserve it is to frame them and keep them as a piece of art.
