Particularly good if you’re quite petite due to its short length, it is also excellent to layer with other pieces to create a shaping solution tailored to you (here we’ve layered a Suspender Belt underneath it, but you could also wear a girdle over the top if you were looking to smooth down your hips). The ‘big sister’ of the Glamour Nouveau Waspie is the Glamour Waist Cincher. Longer in length, with six full length spiral steel bones and a cinching waist tape. The Glamour Waist Cincher is somewhere between the Waspie and a Corset in terms of control. As well as creating that Fifties-style wasp-waist, this Cincher offers a little more lower tummy support and firmer waist shaping. Coming right up to your bra, and down over your hip, it creates a very smooth line and hourglass finish. A front hook-and-eye closure means there's very little bulk under your outfit.
